As the Iran war entered its third week, six people were wounded and several buildings were damaged after Iran fired two cluster missiles at central Israel on Sunday afternoon, with emergency services reporting impact sites in multiple cities. Of those wounded, one is in moderate condition and the other five suffered light injuries.
■ Later on Sunday, the IDF said it is striking "Iranian regime infrastructure" in the west of the country. Since the beginning of the war, the Israeli air force has executed about 400 sorties in Iran, mainly targeting missile launch sites and air defense systems, officials said.
■ In an interview with CNN, IDF spokesperson Effie Defrin said that Israel intends to continue its Iran campaign for at least three more weeks, with contingency plans extending further. "We are not working according to a stopwatch, or a timetable, but rather to achieve our goals," he said.
■ After Semafor reported that Israel informed the United States that it is lacking missile interceptors, IDF sources have denied that supply is running low, with one telling Haaretz that "we prepared for a lengthy war." Israel's foreign minister, Gideon Sa'ar, also said the report was false.
■ Iran's Revolutionary Guards took to their website, Sepah News, to announce that they will target PM Netanyahu directly, saying that "if this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force."
There are no easy solutions in Iran and Lebanon on the horizon, and it is possible that Israel has boxed itself into a renewed war of attrition on two fronts. The impression caused by assassinating Khamenei is dimming while the memory of sirens and of running to bomb shelters is still there, writes Amos Harel
