Right now, a hard-fought, life-saving ceasefire in Gaza is straining under the weight of multiple, bellicose threats. While we continue to hold out hope for the bombs to collect dust and the remaining hostages to be reunited with their families, the likelihood we see renewed suffering and pain in the coming days is high.
As we sit on the cusp of a new wave of violence that could upend an entire region for generations to come, the Trump administration is moving forward to supply $7.4 BILLION in missiles, bombs, and bullets to the Israeli government.[1]
The U.S. government should be doing all it can to use its leverage to sustain the ceasefire, get the remaining hostages home, and build a pathway to true security for people in Palestine and Israel alike. With Trump set to pour more weapons into the IDF and digging in on his illegal and reckless plan to forcibly displace millions of people and take control of the Gaza Strip, it’s clear that leadership will have to come from someone else.
That’s people like us. Activists, along with partners across the movement and on the ground in Israel and Palestine, will continue to play a huge role in what happens next. We know what we're up against now and in the months ahead. We also know that together, we are powerful enough to upend a broken status quo that prioritizes profit and war over people and peace.
We’ve helped build a growing coalition of lawmakers ready and willing to keep offensive weapons that could be used in Gaza out of PM Netanyahu’s hands, but to stop this sale we’ll have to expand it, and fast. It’ll require sustained pressure — are you ready to join us by speaking out today?

Trump’s latest sale includes some of the very weapons the IDF has already used to lay waste to communities in Palestine and Lebanon. The kicker? Unlike other sales where the U.S. government authorizes and facilitates the payment and delivery, this one is likely to happen through a mechanism known as “foreign military financing,” where governments receive U.S. taxpayer-funded grants to buy their bombs and bullets.
You read that right: It’ll mean BILLIONS of dollars in weapons for the Netanyahu government, bought and paid by the U.S. taxpayer.
