2026 Primary Election
A primary election will be held for voters registered in Tippecanoe County.
In-person early voting begins on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at the Tippecanoe County Office Building on the 1st floor during regular business hours.
The May 5 primary is coming fast — and if you're planning to vote by mail, your window closes April 23. Here are situations where you can qualify for an absentee ballot by mail:
- You'll be out of your county on Election Day during the full voting window
- You have a disability
- You're 65 or older
- You have work obligations during all 12 hours polls are open
- Transportation to the polls is unavailable to you
- You're observing a religious holiday that falls on Election Day

The mail-in ballot application deadline is April 23, 2026. Your completed ballot must be received by the county election board no later than 6:00 p.m. on Election Day, May 5. |
