2026 Primary Election

A primary election will be held for voters registered in Tippecanoe County.

In-person early voting begins on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at the Tippecanoe County Office Building on the 1st floor during regular business hours.

The May 5 primary is coming fast — and if you're planning to vote by mail, your window closes April 23. Here are situations where you can qualify for an absentee ballot by mail: 

  • You'll be out of your county on Election Day during the full voting window 
  • You have a disability 
  • You're 65 or older 
  • You have work obligations during all 12 hours polls are open 
  • Transportation to the polls is unavailable to you 
  • You're observing a religious holiday that falls on Election Day 

The mail-in ballot application deadline is April 23, 2026. Your completed ballot must be received by the county election board no later than 6:00 p.m. on Election Day, May 5. 

To apply: Visit IndianaVoters.com and submit your ABS form. You must include either a photocopy of your qualifying photo ID or one of the following numbers: your Indiana driver's license or ID card number, your unique voter ID number from your registration record, or the last four digits of your Social Security number.
