For over 40 years, the Peer/Union Counseling Program has informed participants on where and how to seek needed services in the community. Topics include obtaining assistance with food, utilities, medical, mental health, legal, financial and substance abuse.

Former attendees have come from diverse backgrounds including labor unions, social services, banks & credit unions, and companies with employees interested in learning ways in which to help others as well as themselves.

Presenters are experts within their agencies/organizations and will describe the services offered and the process by which to obtain them. Q & A time will follow each presentation.

At the end of the 10 week program, each participant will wind up with a binder of class material and contact information for referrals to others who might be in need of help.

A graduate banquet will be held at the end of the 10 weeks to honor those who commit and complete the course.
